Job Title: Executive Protection Officer / Workplace Violence Prevention Specialist

Job Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $35.00 Per Hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly professional and skilled Executive Protection Officer to provide personal and workplace protection services for high-profile individuals and designated staff members. This position focuses on safeguarding personnel and property by deterring, detecting, and responding to threats of violence or physical harm. Duties may include residential and workplace monitoring, escort services, and immediate threat response.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the designated facility, residence, or principal individual (Direct Principal) for signs of suspicious activity, threats, or unauthorized access.
• Escort staff or the principal by foot or vehicle, including between secure areas, facilities, or during off-site travel.
• Remain in close proximity to the principal or designated persons to deter potential threats and intervene as needed.
• Proactively identify and report any behaviors or incidents that indicate a risk of workplace violence.
• Respond decisively and safely to any imminent threat or act of violence against the client, employees, or facility.
• Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed in the event of an incident.
• Complete detailed reports and incident documentation following all interventions or safety concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid California Guard Card and a valid BSIS Firearm Permit (required for armed assignments).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in executive protection, private security, law enforcement, or military required.
• Valid California drivers license with clean driving record (for assignments involving transportation).
• Strong observational, situational awareness, and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate in sensitive or high-pressure environments.
• Physically capable of responding to physical altercations or threats if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced training or certifications in executive protection, defensive tactics, workplace violence prevention, or tactical driving.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to respond quickly and physically to emergency situations.
• Must be capable of lifting or assisting individuals in distress if necessary.

Work Environment

• Assignments may take place in corporate offices, private residences, public venues, or mobile environments (vehicles).
• May include both indoor and outdoor activity and variable working hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Discretion, flexibility, and the ability to travel on short notice may be required.
