JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY: Responsible for the providing rejuvenating and relaxing massages to clients.
A friendly therapeutic environment in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains is seeking an eager, self-motivated licensed massage therapist to join our team of professionals.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide consistent professional massage and body treatment in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices
Ensure client comfort in a luxury spa setting
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Time management abilities
Demonstrated sales and customer service skills
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law
Must have genuine interest in helping clients achieve wellness
Practice necessary precautions while working with clients
Ability to complete several treatments per shift
Great listening skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:
Completion of training program in massage therapy.
State licensure through the Department of Nursing.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Knowledge of: Human anatomy
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid massage therapy license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in an indoor climate controlled environment
Incumbent wears prescribed personal equipment protection.
Physical demands consist of standing for long periods of time
