R&D Chemist to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr
Position Overview: Our client seeks an R&D Chemist for the Research & Development team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate to gain hands-on experience in product development and formulation. The right candidate will be observant, precise, and focused, with a natural drive for optimization and efficiency.
Responsibilities of the R&D Chemist: - Prepare and modify formulas to meet product specifications and performance standards.
- Monitor and follow up on stability studies, and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and consistency.
- Create prototype formulas and perform modifications to support innovation and project needs.
- Provide creative, resourceful solutions to technical challenges that may arise during development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional support groups within R&D.
- Manage and maintain a workload of at least 5 basic projects simultaneously.
Required Experience/Skills for the R&D Chemist: - Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry (internship or co-op experience may be considered).
- Proficiency with computer systems and documentation tools.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the R&D Chemist: - Internship or co-op experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.) is required.
