Do you want to form a meaningful connection and help someone in your community? Older adults appreciate the assistance when volunteers drive them to obtain groceries and/or pick them up on their behalf . Schedules vary and are flexible (weekends or weekdays), every other week (approx. 2x/month). Volunteers do not pay for groceries.
Bilingual volunteers are also needed!
Needed throughout Fairfax County, including the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. Especially needed in Alexandria, Lorton, Springfield, Falls Church, and Annandale.
Drivers are also needed to help people go to medical appointments, the pharmacy, or run other errands.
