This role is primarily focused on print and physical media/assets, with an emphasis on bringing the BAGGU brand to life through tangible design outputs.

This is a hybrid role (WFH/Studio) that will require weekly time in-person at our SF design studio (located in the Dogpatch neighborhood) to work hands-on with our packaging and other members of our creative and production teams.

Location and Working Hours

  • Hybrid role, at least 3 days a week in the BAGGU SF office

Responsibilities

  • Create packaging design for seasonal launches, collaborations, and new products
  • Design on product brand applications (e.g. woven labels, logo treatments on products, etc.)
  • Design branded assets used in the packaging experience for both customer orders and gifting (e.g. packaging slips, tissue paper, postcards. etc.)
  • Handle in-office quality control on packaging deliverables
  • Design store window vinyl and in-store signage as well as in-store posters
  • Design merch for special events (e.g. Thank You baggus, t-shirts, stickers, pins, hats, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications
  • 3–5+ years professional graphic design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, advanced Figma skills
  • Experience with packaging production, from concepting through to file handoff
  • Experience preparing vendor-ready print files across a variety of asset types
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and intentional aesthetics
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and give/receive constructive feedback
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables and maintaining consistency across systems
  • Ability to present design solutions and new concepts to small and large groups
  • Understanding of the BAGGU brand and visual language

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working in-house at an e-commerce brand
  • Advanced Figma skills (mastery of components and auto layouts)
  • Experience with Asana

Pay Transparency

  • This is a contract role with an initial two-month engagement.
  • Compensation is set at $6,000 per month.
  • There is potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role.
