Job Title: Electrical Technician III

Location: Wilmington, NC 28405 (Onsite)

Duration: 5+ Months (Possible Extension)

Overview:

The role requires hands-on support for installation, construction, and troubleshooting of new and modified production equipment and automated systems. The candidate will spend most of the time on the floor working with equipment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth startup and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical and electrical support for equipment installation, debugging, and startup.
• Supervise and coordinate internal maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work hands-on with 480VAC and below power systems using standard tools and measurement devices.
• Ensure safety compliance while managing multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
• Collaborate with IT, Mechanical, and Process Engineering teams to understand system functionality and design requirements.

Requirements:

• AAS or BS in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience working with process and automation equipment.
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup of production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with controls, power systems, and automation.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
