Job Summary

We are looking for a DMV Clerk/F&I Assistantto join our growing team! The right candidate will be a team player with a "can-do" attitude and excellent communication skills. Previous automotive experience is preferred but we would love to talk with anyone that has an accounting or office background.

Responsibilities

• Process CT and out of state registrations

• Maintain and track vehicle titles and MSO's

• Clean and review vehicle accounting schedules

• Review, calculate and audit vehicle sales tax

• Work with Beacon and other title vendors to process out of state deals

• Assist F&I in making sure we are compliant with all state and federal laws and that all money is collected on each deal

• Advise sales team on potential title issues with off street purchases and other transactions

Qualifications

• Previous dealership, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred

• Previous DMV experience preferred

• Prompt and courteous demeanor

• Positive and hardworking personality

• Strong computer skills - Dealertrack DMS experience is a plus
