We are partnered with a medical device manufacturing company in Sarasota hiring for a temporary Assembler II. This is a temporary 2-month position with possible extension.

Position Summary:
As a key member of the production team, the Assembler II is responsible for performing electronic or electro-mechanical sub-assembly operations to build and assemble moderately complex units.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret production instructions, assembly drawings, part lists, and verbal directions.
• Identify and select floor stock components for integration into sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering of sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow inventory control, quality, and safety procedures.
• Perform all tasks in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Technical or vocational training a plus.
• Familiar with soldering techniques and standard assembly tools (pliers, strippers, cutters, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and stay self-motivated.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Pay: $21 – $24/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
