Currently seeking an Accounting and Payroll Specialist for a full-time permanent position in Attleboro Falls, MA.

Responsibilities of the Accounting and Payroll Specialist

• Processing weekly payroll using ADP
• Maintaining payroll records, updating the HRIS system
• Processing A/P and A/R
• Creates invoices according to company practices
• Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
• Performs daily cash management duties, including recording of bank deposits, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Track and maintain company benefits including health and dental insurance, vacation and holiday pay.
• Perform month-end closing
• Processes renewal of business licenses
• Maintains company car registrations and dealer license plates including processing annual renewals.
• Assists with planning, coordinating and set-up of company events.
• Answers, screens, and directs incoming telephone calls as needed.
• Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopies, typing, and mailing as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements of the Accounting and Payroll Specialist

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong skills required: MS Office, Payroll software such as ADP, and some Accounting Software knowledge preferred
• Superior attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills and organizational skills
• Shows initiative and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-11:00am Friday
Pay Rate: $65,000-$75,000/year
